Spedian

A revolutionary lightweight reusable vehicle graphics system aimed at the local authority market was unveiled for the first time at this year's APSE event in Aviemore.

Visitors to the event had the opportunity to see at first hand the ground-breaking Spedian SuperLite(tm) system as well as take advantage of a special show offer of a fleet survey which is being offered by the company (check wording).

Acknowledged as the world's lightest truck frame system, Spedian SuperLite(tm) bears all the same quality hallmarks as the original Spedian(tm) system in terms of robustness and longevity.

Suitable for all shapes and sizes of vehicle Spedian is the only patented and tested 'invisible' vehicle graphics frame system available with no bolts, rivets, screws or aluminium or plastic frame required to fix the advertising panel to the vehicle. Spedian SuperLite is a system which the company's CEO Lawrence Craig believes will be particularly attractive to local authorities as it provides a cost effective means of communication with the local community in a highly visible way.

The company currently has over 2300 Spedian systems installed on refuse collection vehicles and vans with local authorities from Aberdeen to Teignbridge and Aberystwyth to Malden and is now actively engaging with local authorities to encourage them to recognise the benefits of clear, clean and easy-to-change signage on their vehicles with Spedian Superlite - one of the best-value marketing opportunities available to councils.

Lawrence Craig commented: "All councils have many key messages to get across to their residents however with budgets consistently being squeezed, traditional 'bought' media such as bus-backs, leaflets and poster sites have become less affordable.

"We are therefore now working with a number of councils to encourage them to look to their fleets of vans as perfect platforms for eye-catching and effective mobile marketing campaigns across all their communities with the added potential of generating third party revenue.

"It is a compelling proposition and one which we are confident will be well received in the marketplace."

Totally user friendly the Spedian System provides total flexibility. Not only is it quick and easy to install - less than one hour - it can also be easily removed with no damage to the vehicle substrate. It can also be used with all other systems easily allowing systems to be easily interchanged. Further if required the panels can be de-installed and re-used or simply recycled.

The Spedian systems has undergone rigorous testing at the Motor Industry Research facility (MIRA) and as such is guaranteed for the lifetime of the vehicle and is able to withstand the gruelling conditions in which local authority vehicles operate on a daily basis.

Spedian is also maintenance free and its HD product is guaranteed to stay colourfast from 12 months - always staying as clean as the vehicle.

Spedian, which provides signage across the UK, Europe and USA and names Coca Cola and McDonalds amongst its customers, developed the Spedian System to be more cost-effective, lighter and more easily maintained than any other systems on the market.
