Monsanto

Highly effective in challenging conditions, Monsanto’s latest Glyphosate herbicide Roundup ProBio continues Monsanto’s proven record for effective long term control of a wide range of weeds in situations ranging from hard surface treatment to the protection of young trees, aquatic use and targeting of invasive species.

Roundup ProBio’s new formulation utilises 360gai/litre of glyphosate acid as the potassium salt and two surfactants to deliver optimum efficacy and enhanced stewardship.

The optimised blend of surfactants in Roundup ProBio aids transport of the active ingredient across the leaf membrane and the formulation reduces surface tension, improving glyphosate uptake and overall performance. This means that it is effective even in challenging weather conditions.

Roundup Pro Bio is now rainfast in one hour for annual weeds and four hours for perennials, ensuring that the maximum amount of glyphosate gets to the roots, offering the opportunity to take advantage of narrow weather windows in a difficult season. Run-off is minimised by the rapid uptake.

Greater protection of operators and bystanders is afforded by its exceptional low drift properties.

Roundup ProBio is safe for use in areas open to the public and near water, and for transport, handling and storage due to its non-hazardous status as defined by COSHH.
