Rapping council chief Trevor Holden has revealed he is planning a sequel to his hit track on the need for voter ID at this week’s local elections.
Speaking to The MJ’s editor Heather Jameson and Nick Kilby from Cratus Communications for the latest episode of the Our World is Local podcast, the South Norfolk and Broadland DC managing director admitted a second rap was likely to spread the word even further before Thursday.
He said: ‘There’s every chance there’s going to be a sequel before we get to the election - just to push the message.'
This month’s podcast focuses on the upcoming local elections, also featuring Cratus' election expert Duncan Flynn.
Mr Flynn reveals why a realignment within British politics means the Conservative vote may hold up in the Midlands and North while the party is likely to be ‘on the retreat’ in the Home Counties.
He also reveals the councils to watch for an indication of whether Keir Starmer is on track to move into 10 Downing Street.
