Canterbury City Council and Dover and Thanet district councils have all issued reports of cyber incidents.
The three Kent authorities are now working with the National Cyber Security Centre.
Issuing the same statement, Canterbury and Dover councils said they were taking a ‘precautionary approach’ while investigating cyber incidents.
The statement said: ‘Our email system and website have been available throughout although some parts of the website may not quite work as intended.
‘We are sorry for any inconvenience people may have experienced over the past few days and will provide updates as and when we have them.’
A statement from Thanet DC said the authority was taking the precaution of limiting access to some online systems ‘following reports of a potential security incident’.
